Last night the last MD bouquets have been produced and will be delivered to tesco in the course of the day. We had tesco technical team on our UK site in Newport 4 days in a row and they left with a good feeling. They were very pleased with the quality of the flowers and the make-up of the BQ’s. It has been a tough week at our production sites in the UK and Ireland where we had production running 24 hours for the last 7 days to deal with the huge volumes that needed to be produced but it went very well and production targets where met every day. On behalf of our teams in the UK, Ireland and myself we would like to give you all a BIG THANK YOU for all the efforts you have put in to make UK-MD a success. It has been hard work on your end with customer visits, monitoring quality, and logistical challenges but you pulled it off. The flowers we received where on time and of good quality. We are now waiting for the British and Irish consumer to put the cherry on the pie and reward the hard work we have all put in with excellent sales.
