The short version
The Site is an information and enquiry site. There are no accounts, no online payments and no advertising trackers.
We only receive personal information when you choose to send it: through the Contact form, or by messaging us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
Your browser stores a few small settings on your device (your cookie choice, saved varieties, language, accessibility options). The Site Helper and the PDF catalogue and quote tools run on your device. Optional analytics load only if you click Accept, and none is switched on at the moment.
We never sell your information.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Primarosa Flowers Ltd is the data controller for information collected through the Site.
We collect information only through the features below.

The names of rose varieties you mark as favourites in the catalogue.

Whether you accepted or declined optional cookies.

Language and accessibility
Your chosen language and display options (text size, contrast, motion).

Site Helper
Questions you type or speak to the helper, to answer them and guide you around the Site.
Answered on your device. Not sent to us. If the Site owner connects an optional AI service, typed questions would be sent to that service to produce an answer. Voice input uses your browser’s own speech service, which may send audio to the browser maker.
PDF catalogue and quote
The varieties you pick and the details you enter when you build a catalogue or quote PDF.
The PDF is created on your device. We receive it only if you choose to send it to us, for example through WhatsApp or your device’s share menu.
Offline app (optional)
Copies of Site pages and images saved in your browser so the Site opens faster and works offline, and the optional “Install app” feature.
Stays on your device. Clear it any time in your browser settings.
Technical data
IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and time of visit.
Recorded automatically in the server logs of our web hosting provider, for security and reliability.
Map on the Contact page
Your IP address and browser details, sent to Google when the map loads.
Google (see section 6).
We do not ask for payment card details, passwords, government ID numbers or any sensitive personal information, and ask that you do not include them in your messages.
3. How we use it, and why we are allowed to
To answer your enquiry and prepare quotations (steps you ask us to take before a sale, and our legitimate interest in running our export business).
To manage orders and our relationship with buyers, including shipping documents and follow-up (performing a contract, and legitimate interest).
To keep the Site secure and working (legitimate interest).
To understand how the Site is used, only if optional analytics are switched on and you accept them (your consent).
To meet legal and regulatory duties, such as record-keeping and export compliance.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only where needed, and never sell it.
FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): the service that delivers Contact form messages to our inbox. It processes the form content for that purpose.
WhatsApp (Meta): if you send us a quote request or chat message, it is handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
Google: for the embedded map and, only if enabled and accepted, analytics (section 6 and 7).
Our web hosting and email providers, who store the Site and our mail.
Freight forwarders, airlines, customs and inspection bodies, but only after you place an order, and only the details needed to deliver it.
Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
5. Sending information to other countries
We are based in Kenya and sell to buyers worldwide, and some of the services above (FormSubmit, WhatsApp, Google) process information outside Kenya, including in the United States and Europe. Where we can, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards. By using the Contact form or messaging us, you understand your message will be handled in these places.
6. Cookies and local storage
The Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies itself. It uses your browser’s local storage, a small private storage area on your device, to remember your choices. Fonts and icons are hosted on our own server, so no font or icon provider receives your visit.

Pages and images saved by the Site’s service worker so the Site loads fast and works offline. Functional.
First-party browser cache. Updated automatically; clear it in your browser settings.

Google Analytics 4 visitor statistics. Optional. Not active at present. If we switch it on, it loads only after you click Accept.
Google cookies. Up to 2 years.
Google Maps
The map embedded on the Contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads. This is a third-party service and it is not controlled by the cookie banner.

Your choices. You can accept or decline optional cookies in the banner. You can change your mind at any time with , or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. If you decline, the Site works exactly the same. If you would rather not load the Google map, use the “Directions” link on the Contact page instead of scrolling to the map.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries and quotes: for as long as needed to deal with your request, and afterwards for a reasonable period for our business records.
Customers and orders: for as long as the trading relationship continues and as long as tax, customs and accounting law require us to keep records.
Server logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider.
Local storage items: on your device until you delete them (section 6).
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Keeping it safe
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection when hosted on a secure domain, forms include spam protection, and access to our inbox is limited to our export and sales team. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information in a message.
9. Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, and, where they apply to you (for example if you are a buyer in the EU or UK), the GDPR and UK GDPR, you may ask us to:
tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct information that is wrong or out of date;
delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
object to our use of it, or withdraw consent you gave (this does not affect what we did before);
send your information to you or another organisation in a usable format, where that right applies.
To use any of these rights, email sales@primarosaflowers.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within the time the law allows. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya, or to the data protection authority where you live.
10. Children
The Site is for businesses and adult buyers. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Links to other sites
The Site links to services we do not run, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and our Facebook page. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how the Site works or what it collects, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
